After visiting a well-known Filipino bakery in Jersey City and finding their ube pandesals completely sold out, I decided to make my own. What started as a personal project became a way for me to practice creativity, keep learning, and build something meaningful. All while bringing a little joy to others through sweet treats.

Today, BANZ breadbox is being built slowly and intentionally. The goal is simple but ambitious: to make ube pandesals a familiar, beloved staple in American households.

As ube continues to gain global love, I want to honor my Filipino roots while introducing it through thoughtfully crafted baked goods. For now, everything is baked by hand in small batches.
